A fight that didn't turn out as expected...

HOW COULD I HAVE LOST?! My stats were all better than his!

This has happened to me aswell. The only explanation I could think of is that when you fight with a lot of gold on you, then the battle goes in favour of the defender. Or it could have been just luck since that is what the fight system is based on.

Pretty lame... also, I just had the same exact experience, but with a higher level character.

I know my explainations are not that great.

... I meant that the rules are lame, not your description of them.
